About George – In the UK and looking for his forever home

This gorgeous boy arrived in the UK in late June and went to a wonderful

home in Birmingham.  Whilst we emphasise that he has done nothing wrong,

the couple’s resident dog really hasn’t accepted him and it’s making

life uncomfortable for all concerned. The owners are devastated.

George would prefer to be the only dog in the home as he constantly demands attention

and likes nothing more than being cuddled on the settee and receiving lots of fuss.

Ideally, he would like a single person or a couple who are home most of

the time and who would embrace his personality and give him lots of

attention.  He doesn’t need a large garden or long walks as he has low

energy levels and he would be a couch potato if allowed!  He wouldn’t

really suit a family with young children but he had a cat test in Greece and

he completely ignored them.  So, if there is someone who really wants a

loving companion to become their soulmate, then George would love to be

given the home he deserves.

Whilst he looks small in his photos, he really isn’t as he is short and

chunky and weighs around 20kg.  He always wears a smile and is very

cheerful and friendly;  he is clean in the house and sleeps quietly downstairs at night.

He is fine in the car and he’s been left for a couple of hours with no problem

at all. However, he hasn’t yet been let off the lead so that would need

some work. Serious enquiries will result in a conversation with his

current owner and, if logistics are reasonable, he could be visited at

home.  We are keen to find his forever home as soon as possible. He’s lovely.
