PLEASE CONSIDER ONE OF THE BLACK DOGS AS PEOPLE
TEND TO JUST SCROLL PAST THEM.THEY REALLY DON'T HAVE A CHANCE IN GREECE AND WILL STAY IN
THE DOG SHELTERS ALL THEIR LIVES UNLESS WE HELP THEM.
THEY ARE JUST AS WONDERFUL AS
THE OTHER DOGS BUT, SADLY, THEY MAY NOT LOOK SO PRETTY.AFTER ALL, BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN DEEP!PLEASE GIVE THEM A CHANCE.
NEW HOME NEEDED FOR EDDIE
Eddie arrived in the UK in August and is just a year old. He is a really handsome boy (boxer cross we think) but, sadly, his home has not worked out for him and so now he is in kennels in Southampton. He needs a... calm home with mature people, good stability and routine as busy environments stimulate him so he gets excited and starts to chew if he doesn't have attention. With time and patience we believe he will learn to settle and relax. We also think that he may benefit from another dog to relate to. He enjoys his walks and has a lovely, friendly personality and although his previous home had young children with whom he was great, we feel that as he is quite strong he could knock over a small child. He is healthy, microchipped, vaccinated and has his Pet Passport. We really hope that someone will step forward and at least give him a chance by visiting him in Southampton. Please help us to find this lovely boy his forever home as soon as possible as we feel the kennel environment won't help him settle.
NEW HOME NEEDED
Hello my name is Makis and i'm a 7 year old boxer cross Labrador,
but a big puppy at heart. I am very friendly and always make lots of
friends on my walks. I love to chase a ball, go for a swim, or just
a quiet stroll in the park. My family are very sad to have to find
me a new home but they are moving abroad and can't take me with
them. I love children but don't like cats.
Lyn would like to confirm that Makis is a gorgeous boy who is a wonderful family dog. He is one of the most friendly dogs I have ever had the privilege to bring from Greece and I want to find him the best possible home because his current family are so distraught having to leave him behind. I want them to know he is really happy. He has also won lots of rosettes at various dogs shows for Most Handsome Dog and Best Rescue – I can’t speak highly enough of him!
FILOU AND LULU
Two beautiful kittens who were abandoned when just a few weeks old. They were thought to have been born in the middle of June 2014 and are being cared for in a foster home in Aegina. However, the lady is overrun with cats and needs to find a home for these two. They have not been outside but would, no doubt, love to do so and they are close buddies so we would like them to stay together. The male is the white one and his name in Filou and his black and white sister is Lulu. They are VERY affectionate and love to be cuddled, they are sterilised, vaccinated and microchipped and have their bags packed ready to come to the UK in January. If you are interested then please contact Lyn via the website firstname.lastname@example.org
Monty is a handsome, playful, young boy
who came over from Greece in December 2014. He had lived his life
on a chain and was looking forward to a different family life over
here. Sadly, the home that he came into did not work out for him
and he is, again, without a home to call his own. Monty is a
strong, young dog who needs time and patience to adjust to a very
different life here, with somebody who can give him lots of
reassurance to build his confidence. He is keen to learn and eager
to please, but it is a big leap from his sterile existence in
Greece to a full and rich life here and that transition will take
time and gentle guidance. Are you able to offer this lovely lad
the place and support to enable him to flourish?
We had many enquiries for Isabella before she was finally
adopted into the UK. So, now we have her lovely brother Karlos
looking for a good home. He is a lovely little guy with the same
delightful personality as Isabella.’
She is absolutely delightful, friendly, affectionate,
loves to be cuddled and of course so cute with an endearing little
face. She is very confident and mills around with the other
puppies, enjoying herself. A really lovely, tiny girl.
All our dogs are prepared in conjunction with the Pets Travel Scheme
and have carried out their quarantine period in Greece.
This means that they are able
to enter the UK
and go straight to their new homes. We do not home where all family
members are in full time employment and we also require a secure
garden with, in most circumstances, a surrounding 6ft fence. In most
cases we have video footage of the dogs and we are always happy to
show this during the home visit.
