PLEASE CONSIDER ONE OF THE BLACK DOGS AS PEOPLE
TEND TO JUST SCROLL PAST THEM.THEY REALLY DON'T HAVE A CHANCE IN GREECE AND WILL STAY IN
THE DOG SHELTERS ALL THEIR LIVES UNLESS WE HELP THEM.
THEY ARE JUST AS WONDERFUL AS
THE OTHER DOGS BUT, SADLY, THEY MAY NOT LOOK SO PRETTY.AFTER ALL, BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN DEEP!PLEASE GIVE THEM A CHANCE.
NEW HOME NEEDED
Hello my name is Makis and i'm a 7 year old boxer cross Labrador,
but a big puppy at heart. I am very friendly and always make lots of
friends on my walks. I love to chase a ball, go for a swim, or just
a quiet stroll in the park. My family are very sad to have to find
me a new home but they are moving abroad and can't take me with
them. I love children but don't like cats.
Lyn would like to confirm that Makis is a gorgeous boy who is a
wonderful family dog. He is one of the most friendly dogs I
have ever had the privilege to bring from Greece and I want to find
him the best possible home because his current family are so
distraught having to leave him behind. I want them to know he
is really happy. He has also won lots of rosettes at various
dogs shows for Most Handsome Dog and Best Rescue – I can’t speak
highly enough of him! If you would like more information or
would like to meet him (in Bournemouth) then please phone me on
This is Diva. She looks exactly as a German Shepherd, only
medium size. She is good and loving, keeps asking for cuddles when
you’re by. She lived in the same cage with her sisters and used to
be the A dog of the cage. She is good with dogs male and female
He is a very happy, lively chap, described
as 'a bit of a clown'. He enjoys his walks but pulls
a bit, so will need training. He gets on very well with
other dogs and cats and would make a great family dog. Born
around January 2010.
All our dogs are prepared in conjunction with the Pets Travel Scheme
and have carried out their quarantine period in Greece.
This means that they are able
to enter the UK
and go straight to their new homes. We do not home where all family
members are in full time employment and we also require a secure
garden with, in most circumstances, a surrounding 6ft fence. In most
cases we have video footage of the dogs and we are always happy to
show this during the home visit. If you think you would like to
adopt one of our dogs please call
